Last updated: June 26, 2026
This page is maintained by the ProtocolMD team to describe how ProtocolMD operates. It is informational and not legal advice.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using ProtocolMD ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who can use ProtocolMD
The Service is intended exclusively for licensed healthcare professionals (physicians, residents, and clinicians under supervision). You confirm that you are a licensed practitioner authorised to make clinical decisions in your jurisdiction.
3. Nature of the Service
ProtocolMD is a clinical decision support tool. It generates protocol summaries, draft prescriptions, diet plans and diagnostic interpretation aids using AI models. Output is informational and intended to assist, not replace, the user's clinical judgement. You are solely responsible for any clinical decision, prescription or action taken.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for safeguarding your credentials, and for all activity under your account.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor (Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as Merchant of Record). Prices are listed on the pricing page and may change with notice. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not upload protected health information unless you have lawful basis and patient consent.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or use the Service to train competing models.
- Do not use the Service for emergencies where a life is in immediate danger — call local emergency services.
7. Intellectual property
ProtocolMD and its content (excluding user inputs) are owned by ProtocolMD and protected by applicable laws. You retain ownership of inputs you provide; you grant us a limited licence to process them to deliver the Service.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProtocolMD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any clinical outcome arising from use of the Service. Total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the preceding twelve (12) months.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may cancel anytime from your account or by contacting support.
10. Governing law
